ABOUT US

Shipleys Outdoors Inc. was formed in 2014, merging two family owned businesses "Custom Sawing" and "Shipley's Archery" under one corporate identity. Shipley's Archery specializes in providing equipment used in the National Archery in the Schools Program. In addition to retail and online sales, you have probably seen our trailer at many of the NASP tournaments. Custom Sawing is a fully equipped wood working shop, operating a sawmill, dry kiln and cnc router, in addition to all the normal equipment found in a wood working shop. We specialize in parts for turkey call, and carry many parts in inventory. We manufacture everything from kits for beginners to custom parts by the hundreds or thousands. If you don't see what you are looking for, give us a call.

Although we incorporated under the Shipleys Outdoors Inc. name, we are still a family owned and operated business, that will treat you like family and provide the customer service you deserve. Should you call, you will most likely speak to Ken or Martha. We do not have a computerized phone system where you go through a maze of computerized menus just to get to someones voice mail box. You only have two option when you call us. Speak to a live person, or leave a voice mail. If we can not take your call, or it is after hours. We will return your call as soon as we can.

HISTORY

Shipleys Archery is part of a family owned corporation "Shipleys Outdoors Inc." The business is located on the Shipley farm, in Trigg County Kentucky. The entire family has been involved with the National Archery in the Schools Program since it began. In 2003 our existing game call business "Custom Sawing" started carrying the archery equipment needed for NASP competition. Most archery dealers at that time had little knowledge of NASP or what equipment was required to compete. Our long history of involvement with NASP , our knowledge of the program and equipment, as well as our love for the children and families involved in the sport helped the business grow into what it is today.

We love archery, hunting, fishing, farming, and the whole outdoor lifestyle. While it might be more profitable to move the archery business into town, the lifestyle we grew up with, keeps us and the business anchored on the farm, close to the woods and the water.

We love to talk with and get to know our customers. We strive to treat our customers like family, and provide the personalized customer service we would want to receive ourselves. We take our business on the road each year, traveling to several of the regional and state tournaments, as well as the national and world tournaments. We hope to see you there.

Thank you again to all our customers who have made this business successful
